School Anxiety
Small children and adolescents may suffer from stress that could be related to school. If your child is gets anxious at the question of school going or tries to avoid school at the slightest instance, he or she may be suffering from. According to the experts most children are likely to be effected from school anxiety at some or the other point of time. It is a serious problem as it might lead to poor academic performance, low attendance, and isolation from friends and family members. The condition may also take a toll on the child’s health.
School Anxiety cannot be overcome without proper positive intervention. The help should come from both parents and school. If your child shows the symptoms of this condition, you must acknowledge that your child is suffering from a problem which is affecting him or her badly. You can do the following:
- Gain your child’s confidence and assure that you understand that his or her fears are not unreal.
- If you can make out the things that have been worrying your child, allow him to play the role of that person whose actions have caused stress.
- If a teacher or a fellow student is harassing your son or daughter, take up the issue with the school immediately.
- In certain cases professional help is necessary, but a parent who listens and understands the child can be a bigger help.

Some people inherit it in their genes and their personality and past experiences add to it; together these factors fail them in facing challenges at their offices. Poor office environment, demanding work schedules, lack of transparency operational transparency and insufficient reward and recognition are some of the factors that may be responsible for anxiety. You can take the help of :
- Deep breathing: Practicing deep breathing for two to three minutes will help you to calm yourself at the time of anxiousness.
- Change the direction of your thought process: Try to tell yourself that any thought that is stress giving should be abandoned immediately. You can go to gym and put your mind into exercising for sometime.
- Take your food: Remember empty stomach will add up to your nervousness. Anxiousness may prevent you from eating but this will lower your blood sugar level and put you under more stress.
- Clear your doubts: Try to learn more about the things, which are causing anxiety. It may be quiet so, that your worries are baseless. Practice positive attitude and positive thinking.
