If you struggle with depression you will know that it can be all you ever think about,
but a lot of the time you might keep how you are feeling to yourself, and not tell anyone how you are really feeling.
One reason for this is that trying to actually explain what depression feels like can be very challenging.There are so many thoughts and emotions constantly rushing through your head that you don’t even know where to begin. Even if you could perfectly describe depression, it is doubtful that someone who has never experienced depression would understand what you are saying, as they just can’t relate to it.
I used to drive myself crazy, googling 1 million different questions about my symptoms. Then I found other people who were going through the same thing as I was, and reading other people’s descriptions of depression gave me a small comfort in knowing that I wasn’t the only one experiencing these thoughts and feelings.
