Journaling is my favourite go to method of feeling better when I feel stressed and/or anxious and/or depressed!

Negative thoughts can be overwhelming and have a severely detrimental impact on our Mental Health. Writing about these thoughts provides us with more clarity and helps us achieve a sense of calm.

Being grateful is having a sense of appreciation for the things that you have.

Sounds easy, but a lot of us are so caught up in our busy everyday routines that we forget to take the time to be grateful.

As you read through the prompts below, try to avoid just a 1 word answer.

Really think and try to imagine why you are so grateful about each one.

Think about how your life would be different if you didn’t have this thing in your life.

Think about ways in which you can try to incorporate this grateful thinking into each day, and how you can be mindful in your life going forwards, to notice these positive things as they happen.

There are a lot to get through so I would do 3 or 4 each day, trying to write 3 or 4 sentences for each question.
